    Note from the owner -
    When we first walked onto the driveway at Bridge End Cottage we'd bought the house before we walked through the front door! 

It really is a hidden gem, the most difficult thing about living here is explaining to delivery drivers where we are as nobody knows we are here. We can turn left or right from our back door and immediately access a huge network of walks/public footpaths from a short pop out with the dog or for a longer walk up Win Hill or Bradwell Edge. It is a walkers paradise.

    Lockdown has been difficult for everyone but we simply couldn't imagine a nicer place to spend it than in our front garden with a view that is quite literally incredible. 

    The best part of living here is that although we feel like we have our own little piece of the Peak District National Park, we are 15 minutes drive to Ecclesall Rd South and a 5-10 minute walk to Hope station with it's trains to Manchester and Sheffield. We are a 40 minute drive to Manchester Airport since the new link road opened. We are also well served with some great local pubs, restaurants, shops and deli's. 

    We have completely redone the house since we moved in in 2016 and did not intend to leave for many years, if ever, but we have developed a passion for equestrian pursuits over the last 6 or 7 years so we are buying a house with equestrian facilities. If we could have the facilities where we are we would never dream of moving. 

    Whoever buys the house will instantly be as smitten as we were. We felt completely at home in the house after literally 24 hours and we will be truly sorry to leave it behind, especially the views which have given us so many hours of pleasure.

    If looking on the Rightmove Map the pinned house IS NOT Bridge end Cottage this house is adjacent to the River Noe a couple of inches above the pin on the map.

The grounds extend down to the River Noe and there is a footpath to this side boundary which is hidden behind a wall and mature beech hedging. 

    Directions -
    On approaching the Travellers Rest at Brough traffic lights, approximately 75 metres before on the left-hand side, opposite a bus stop, turn left down a private driveway, the initial section being block paved. Continue down the long driveway over which Bridge End Cottage has a vehicular right of access and at the end of the driveway, a five bar green gate gives access to a private driveway leading to Bridge End Cottage.
